For over a decade, The Shard occupiers have proudly taken part in Team London Bridge’s Gift Back campaign, a cherished local tradition that brings warmth, generosity, and festive spirit to communities across London Bridge.
As we mark another year of involvement, we reflect on the impact this initiative continues to have on recipients and on everyone here at The Shard who takes part.
Since its inception by Team London Bridge, the Gift Back campaign has harnessed the collective goodwill of businesses and individuals across the London Bridge area to provide thoughtful gifts and essential items to vulnerable and isolated residents during the winter season. For the people who work in The Shard, participation has become more than an annual charitable activity — it has become a meaningful tradition that strengthens the community within the building.
Each year, our occupiers, staff and partners come together to donate gifts and dedicate time to ensure that every parcel is carefully wrapped. Whether it’s a cosy blanket, festive treats, or a children’s toy, these small gestures have made a difference to residents during the festive season.
