The Shard Hosts Macmillan Coffee Morning

The ShardYesterday, The Shard hosted a coffee morning raising money for Macmillan, in continued support off this established UK charity. The Beacon for Modern London has been participating in the charity’s fundraising effort for almost a decade, which helps fund Macmillan nurses, provide support to cancer patients, their families and more.
As part of the coffee morning, occupiers of the vertical city united and enjoyed delicious Shard-themed cakes from the renowned Shangri-La The Shard Hotel and Oblix restaurant at The Shard. To accompany the cakes, coffee was provided by Shard tenant, Sage Appliances.
