For over a decade, The Shard occupiers have proudly taken part in Team London Bridge’s Gift Back campaign, a cherished local tradition that brings warmth, generosity, and festive spirit to communities across London Bridge.

High above London, Aqua Shard brings J.M. Barrie’s beloved tale to life with a showstopping Peter Pan Christmas Tree, created in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

This Remembrance Sunday, The Shard, will illuminate the London skyline with a poignant new falling petal display, honouring all those who have served and sacrificed in the Armed Forces of Britain and the Commonwealth.

The Shard recently hosted an exclusive photography exhibition by award-winning artist Besnik Mehmeti called The Echoes of a Moment, showcasing his latest body of work, London Tuning In.

To celebrate National Poetry Day last week, The Shard hosted The Poetry Takeaway.

To mark the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, The Shard's spire lights will be shining pink on the evening of Wednesday 1st October 2025. Helping to raise awareness of breast cancer and promote the importance of early detection, education, and support for life-saving research.
