Al Jazeera was one of the first occupiers to move into The Shard, whilst The News UK Group moved into the neighbouring building, also managed by REM and now known as The News Building, in 2014 bringing The Times, Sunday Times, Wall Street Journal and Harper Collins into the neighbourhood.

“Dods is a respected and highly trusted provider of intelligence within the political arena. It joins a host of other publishing houses in the London Bridge area, which is quickly becoming the epicentre of the Capital's media industry.”
