Clouds of Pink Afternoon Tea at TĪNG

A homage to humble beginnings, Buckwheat blends Toki Japanese Whisky, Buckwheat Shochu, and Peach and Jasmine Soda. Its hand-moulded savoury fried buckwheat noodle garnish offers texture and symbolism, celebrating the resilience of the seed and its journey upward through the soil.

Perched 35 storeys above the city, Shangri-La The Shard, London invites guests to experience the Clouds of Pink Afternoon Tea at TĪNG Restaurant and Lounge. Inspired by the lounge’s iconic setting - where floor-to-ceiling windows give the sensation of dining amongst the clouds - this whimsical tea is a celebration of pink indulgence in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Served on an elegant three-tier stand, the journey begins with a refined selection of savoury finger sandwiches before moving to delicious rose-hued scones, accompanied by cranberry jam and clotted cream. Guests are then invited to indulge in an artful array of hand-crafted pastel pastries, each designed to echo the beauty of the sky at dusk and the spirit of the season.

Accompanying the tea is a wide selection of Shangri-La’s signature loose-leaf blends, alongside a menu of pink-inspired beverages.

Clouds of Pink Afternoon Tea is available until 18 November 2025, priced at £79 per person, £92 including a flute of Canard-Duchêne Brut Champagne or the signature pink cocktail, and £82 with a non-alcoholic mocktail.

A percentage of proceeds from each pink dining experience will be donated to Guy’s Cancer Charity, which supports the pioneering work of Guy’s Cancer. The centre provides life-saving treatment to more than 900 breast cancer patients every year. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with one woman diagnosed every ten minutes. Thanks to improved care and treatment, 85% of women diagnosed in England now survive for five years or more – a statistic made possible by organisations such as Guy’s Cancer.
