Ting Shangri-La at The Shard

TĪNG, derived from the Chinese word for “living room”, is the collective name for the restaurant and lounge on Level 35. Situated 128 metres above ground level, both areas offer unsurpassed views of St Paul’s Cathedral, The City of London, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and other famous landmarks.

TĪNG restaurant presents a modern British menu with an Asian infusion, made using the finest local market produce and crafted with meticulous attention. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is the perfect venue for any occasion.

The Chinoiserie interior captures the aura of Chinese culture in an elegant and modern interpretation featuring metal screens with oriental elements, modern classic furniture and lantern-inspired pendants.

TĪNG Lounge offers a distinctive a la carte menu with signature dishes such as hand-dived scallops from the North-West Highland coast cooked a la plancha and served with carrot, ginger and a light yuzu and grape seed oil dressing and organic Welsh lamb from Rhug Estate, glazed with mirin, sake and soy sauce served with root vegetables and Kentish apples.

Served in theatrical elegance, TĪNG takes afternoon tea to a new level with two unique offerings – a classically English experience and an Asian-inspired alternative, both complemented by an exclusive selection of more than 30 teas.
