Second in the series, ‘’ by presented an ‘urban journey’ to evoke a fully engaging experience with business innovation and positive disruption at its very core.
Third in the series ‘’ was also created by Jump Studios and looked at space that would reflect the three ‘C’s: Community, Collaboration and Concentration.
The fourth in the series '' was created by Perkins+Will and inspired b The Shard's unique architecture and design language.
The Park/Pavilion concept by Jump Studios brings a space that maximises natural light to create an environment that provides a more human and naturalistic dimension. The space privileges welfare, psychology, sustainability and happiness in the work place.
Flexibility allows space that can fully adapt to changing environments. There are no set guidelines so that furniture can be moved around if offices grow or decrease in size.
Light creates open and bright spaces. This series of concepts is in keeping with The Shard's floor to ceiling windows and uses this to build on the natural light brought in. Natural light improves moods, reduces stress and positively impacts circadian system functioning.
The concept also includes lots of green, bringing nature indoors. The calming influence of natural environments is conducive to positive work environments by increasing a person's ability to concentrate on the task at hand. Work performed under the natural influence of ornamental plants is normally of higher quality and completed with a much higher accuracy that work done in environments devoid of nature.
