WHERE’S WALLY? THE WORLD’S HIGHEST SEARCH IS ON AT THE VIEW FROM THE SHARD
As Easter vastly approaches, The View from The Shard teams up with ‘Where’s Wally?’ in order to provide the worlds’ highest search.
Whereas the usual Easter school holidays may call for the more traditional games such as egg hunting, The View from The Shard from the 19th March – 10 April 2016 will be providing the perfect setting to enjoy a larger-than-life search for the elusive globetrotter, Wally and friends.
Intrepid explorers Wally, Wenda, Woof, Wizard Whitebeard and Oldlaw will be reproduced in large-scale formats, appearing at some of the city’s best loved hotspots, rooftops and landmarks along The Thames. As the only place to see 1,000 years of London’s history from one vantage point, some historical characters have also been added for visitors to try and spot.
Created by Martin Handford and published by Walker Books, Where's Wally? is one of the most recognisable characters in the world and a pop culture icon. A global publishing phenomenon with more than 59 million books sold worldwide, the successful series has been translated into more than 30 languages.
Families visiting during period 19 March – 10 April will be able to purchase a combined ‘Family Ticket’ valid for (2 Adults + 2 Children, or 1 Adult + 3 Children), priced £79.95 – saving over 15%. All tickets during the period come with a ‘Where’s Wally?’ activity sheet which can be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a family adventure.
