Shangri-La Hotel, at The Shard, London has teamed up with specialist engagement planners The Proposers for the ‘Proposal in the Clouds’ experience, which will see couples whisked to the hotel in style within a Rolls-Royce Phantom, before floating up 39 floors above London for a two-night stay in the hotel’s luxurious Shangri-La Suite. Join The View from The Shard for an entire week of valentine’s events, including London’s highest piano concert featuring Tom Donald, a screening of ‘A Star is Born’ starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga or their ‘Singles Mixer Night’ if you are looking to meet someone new.

On Friday 14th February, treat your other half to the ultimate Valentine’s Day evening. Enjoy spectacular views of London along with a harpist performance, a glass of Moët champagne and a red rose for your loved one. AQUA SHARD

Romance is in the air at Aqua Shard on level 31. Enjoy their bespoke Valentine’s Day menu featuring a starter of dorset crab supplemented by bergamot, Stracciatella cheese and roasted heritage tomato jelly. Choose from a selection of three entrées – black winter truffle risotto, native lobster or roast pigeon; and round out the meal with a cheese board including Montgomery’s cheddar, white chocolate citrus jelly and jasmine caviar, a raspberry soufflé for dessert and finally, an aqua shard Valentine’s chocolate box and roses.

This special menu is available for dinner service only from 6:00pm to 10:15pm on Friday 14th February. Tickets must be pre-booked and are available for £125 per person with an optional wine pairing.
