THE VIEW FROM THE SHARD CELEBRATES FIRST BIRTHDAY
Visitors from around the globe came to see in The Views birthday and celebrate a successful first year whilst enjoying the spectacular 360 degree views from the breath-taking heights of 800ft/244m, the only place possible to see all of London all at once.
To kick off a week of celebrations, The View from The Shard welcomed the first 100 guests of each day with their very own limited edition photographic print to mark this special birthday and well as free entry for anyone who shares The Views birthday.
The View also unveiled its first ever mobile app giving guests the ability to explore the attraction's unrivalled 360 degree view of London in the palms of their hands, providing exciting facts about 200 of London's famous landmarks.
The View rounded off the week's merriments with an exclusive invitation-only party over looking the lights of London, Sponsored by Lanson and Asahi. VIP guests enjoyed a night of celebrations with a special performance from Mutya Keisha Siobhan, followed by a DJ set from BBC Radio 1's Rob Da Bank, and a bespoke birthday cake created by Frances Quinn, the 2013 winner of BBC series The Great British Bake Off.
A fantastic time was had by all and it was the perfect night to complete The View from The Shard's first birthday.
