AQUA SHARD LAUNCH THEIR SPRING COCKTAIL MENU
As we step forward into Spring, there’s a whole host of new cocktails for you to enjoy in the Aqua Shard bar on level 32.
Whether you like your drinks Fresh & Fruity or Dark & Delicious, want to try one of the bar team’s signatures or are indulging with a decadent Champagne Cocktails, there’s sure to be something on the menu to tempt you this Spring.
A topical tipple is April Showers, a take on the classic vodka sour combining Ciroc Vodka with lychee juice, Crème de Peche, passion fruit and vanilla syrup, shaken with egg white and Absinthe and topped with orange bitters.
New to the Aqua Shard signatures selection is a clever Clear Colada, which instead of the usual rum uses Haig Club whisky, fat-washed with coconut and blended with Crème de Cacao. It’s an unusual take on the classic Piña Colada, keeping the tropical taste of coconut but taking away the sweetness to deliver a cocktail that’s complex and satisfying.
For something Dark & Delicious, ideal for after dinner or simply after dark, why not try La Serveuse de Cocktail, a potent blend of Bulleit bourbon, Belsazar Red and Belsazar Dry vermouths and Mozart Dark chocolate liqueur? Reminiscent of a Negroni it’s slightly sweeter but still strong and satisfying, perfect for rounding off your evening.
The Aqua Shard bar is located on level 32 of The Shard and is open from 12 noon until 1am daily, operating on a walk-in basis.
