AQUA SHARD CELEBRATE CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW
Enjoy a bespoke cocktail and dessert inspired by the show at aqua shard from 22nd to 28th May.
The Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show inspires millions through showcasing the best in garden design. Held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London, it has been running since 1862. Formally known as The Great Spring Show, today the attraction is attended by 157,000 visitors each year and is broadcast by the BBC. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show runs from 23rd to 27th May 2017.
NEW COCKTAIL AND DESSERT AT AQUA SHARD
To celebrate the quintessentially British RHS Chelsea Flower Show the aqua shard team have created a bespoke cocktail and dessert inspired by the floral notes of the edible lavender and violet flowers. The cocktail and desert are available at aqua shard from Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th May.
Talented Bar Manager, Luca Missaglia, has created a new cocktail using the rich floral notes of violet and lavender flowers. The Chelsea Flower Show cocktail (£16.50) is made with sloe gin, crème de violette, fresh lemon juice, fresh egg white and a spray of lavender essence.
The team, headed up by Executive Chef Dale Osborne, has also created a beautiful Berriolett mousse with vanilla brulee, almond sponge, olive oil and violet powder (£9). The mousse is made with summer berries and edible violet flowers and is as rich in colour as it is in taste.

GETTING TO THE SHARD FROM THE CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW
By public transport it will take approximately 24 minutes on the London Underground. Following an eight minute walk from Royal Chelsea Hospital to Sloane Square Station head eastbound three stops on the District or Circle line and change at Westminster. At Westminster change to the Jubilee line and head southbound three stops to London Bridge.
By car it will take approximately 30 minutes from the Chelsea Flower Show to The Shard via A3212. The Shard sits within London's Congestion Charge Zone.
