TIFFANY & CO 'DELIGHTED' WITH SHARD MOVE
One of the world’s leading jewellery brands, Tiffany & Co, is to make The Shard its new UK headquarters, further reinforcing the vision of creating a vibrant business community in Europe’s first Vertical City.
The quality of the office space and the thriving local area proved a huge draw for Barratt West, Tiffany & Co’s Managing Director for UK and Ireland. He said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our UK staff a world-class office environment within this vibrant and burgeoning district of London.”

Tiffany & Co joins an incredibly diverse range of companies leasing space within The Shard, including intellectual property lawyers, a venture capitalist, a global media brand, a New York based investment bank, the world’s largest hospital group and an international energy business. Four new occupiers have signed leases over the past three months, accounting for more than 35,000sq ft of office space and taking The Shard’s roster of tenants to 11.
James Goldsmith, the Leasing Director of Shard asset manager REM, said: "The Shard is located at the heart of one of the most exciting and fastest growing cultural and business districts in the capital. The London Bridge Quarter will accommodate more than 12,500 people in its 1.3m square foot of net space. In addition, around one million people a year are visiting The View from The Shard, and thousands more have already dined in the award-winning restaurants and stayed at the five-star hotel Shangri-La, At The Shard."
Irvine Sellar, The Shard’s developer and co-owner, added: “This latest letting confirms The Shard’s appeal to major global brands and we welcome Tiffany to Europe’s first Vertical City.”
