BBC Worldwide recently named their eight most beautiful skyscrapers. Standing alongside some of the most impressive high-rise buildings in the world is a bit of an honour. Renzo Piano's glass vertical city has clearly made a lasting impression on the world, as have many of his architectural achievements including the Pompidou Centre and the New York Times Building.
