Awarded the title of 'The Most Romantic View' by Mills & Boon 'Romantics' awards 2015, The View from The Shard is quickly developing a reputation as one of the most romantic venues in London, and is a very popular location for marriage proposals. Two couples were engaged within 10 minutes of the attraction’s opening, and on Valentine’s Day 2015 a proposal took place on average every 30 minutes on the viewing platforms.

Guests will be able to enjoy a glass of Champagne Lanson in the sky on the Level 69 and 72 viewing galleries from 11am until closing daily, with extended opening hours on Saturday and Valentine’s Day itself until midnight; allowing more time for a romantic round-off to the evening after dinner or theatre bookings.
The vantage point on offer at The View from The Shard is London's answer to the Eiffel Tower or Empire State Building. At the top of The Shard, the European Union's (EU) tallest building, the viewing platforms are almost twice the height of any other vantage point in the city, and offer breath-taking 360 degree views for up to 40 miles.
