THE OFFICE GROUP AT THE SHARD

Companies at The Shard

London’s most progressive flexible offices provider takes two floors in The Shard.

Regarded as London’s most progressive design-led flexible offices provider, The Office Group (“TOG”) is leasing two floors in The Shard, further reinforcing the building’s vision of creating a vibrant business community in Europe’s first vertical city.

This innovative, design-focused business is taking levels 24 and 25 which equate to approximately 33,600 sq ft.

Founded 11 years ago TOG is recognised as one of the Capital’s leading providers of flexible office space aimed firmly at the emerging generation of innovators and entrepreneurs who expect their work places to reflect their lifestyles.

Joint CEO’s Charlie Green and Olly Olsen commented: “Our distinctively designed space will complement The Shard’s iconic status and world-class office space. Our product is for people whose lifestyle cannot comprise on work space and who place high value on a world class address and being part of an inspirational environment.”

It is anticipated that TOG’s latest centre – taking its current total to 20 – will be home to at least 30 small to medium sized companies on a permanent basis most of which will be from the creative, media and technology sectors, London’s fastest growing areas.

Irvine Sellar, The Shard’s developer and co-owner, and James Goldsmith, Leasing Director of REM (the building’s asset manager), said: “We have been looking to accommodate a flexible office provider and always admired TOG’s business approach. This letting captures entirely the spirit of The Shard by enabling  entrepreneurial and start-up companies to operate from this iconic building and further create a dynamic business environment within London Bridge Quarter.

“Already the London Bridge Quarter development has become a major media hub with titles such as The Times, Sunday Times, Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones and HarperCollins occupying the News Building and Al-Jazeera in The Shard. TOG’s presence will attract more media and creative businesses to both The Shard and London Bridge area.”
