SHARD VIDEO: A TECHNICAL SUCCESS FOR AL JAZEERA
Al Jazeera is a global media network programming and broadcasting live from The Shard.
The network relocated its European operation from Knightsbridge to The Shard in September 2014. Over 100 employees are now based in the building with their offices and studios taking 27,800 sq ft of floor space for to work from.
In this Shard Video Anil Chaman, Manager of Technology at Al Jazeera refers to the technical challenges of relocating their broadcast centre into The Shard, and the “fantastic relationship with the landlord’s team” during the move.
Al Jazeera is currently reshaping global media and constantly strives to strengthen its reputation as one of the world's most respected news and current affairs channels.
