NEW YEAR'S EVE AT THE SHARD

SHANGRI-LA HOTEL

Escape the ordinary and celebrate the New Year in one of London’s most iconic hotels. With three unique dining venues and exciting event spaces, there’s a number of experiences to choose from.

Enjoy New Year’s Eve in TING Restaurant and Lounge, where they will be serving a six-course meal featuring lobster salad, goose terrine, tournedos of beef or traditional roast partridge. Tickets can be booked for £420 per person (inclusive of a glass of Champagne on arrival) or with wine pairing for £520 per person.

Located on level 52, GONG Bar offers guests a spectacular venue for celebrations with stunning views of the capital. Performances from burlesque acts will entertain guests who can choose from standing tickets for £180 per person (inclusive of a welcome glass of Champagne) or seated tickets for £350 per person (inclusive of one bottle of Dom Pérignon per table).

Back on level ground, located at the base of the Shard, Bar 31 offers a local casual vibe with a small bites menu and live DJ playing from 9:30pm until 01:30am. Entrance includes a glass of Veuve Clicquot and is priced at £30 per person.

The three events spaces located on level 34 can also be booked for a gala dinner and prices start from £420.

HUTONG

With panoramic views of London, enjoy the ultimate view of the Mayor of London's fireworks at Hutong on the 33rd floor. Dinner tickets are £345 and include an authentic four course sharing menu of northern Chinese dishes, including their signature Wagyu beef hot pot, two glasses of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and entertainment during dinner.

After the fireworks guests are invited to join the party in aqua shard where a DJ will be playing until 3.30am or are welcome to stay at their table for after dinner drinks. Bar tickets are also available in Hutong at £120 which include a glass of Champagne on arrival and a dim sum platter.

AQUA SHARD

Ring in the New Year at aqua shard with a range of dinner and drinks options whilst enjoying a live performance from the glamorous swing band The Spinettes. 

Enjoy a sumptuous five course contemporary British menu and a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne on arrival.  Seating is available between 7:30pm to 9:30pm and is priced at £395 per guest or can be enhanced by adding three glasses of wine selected by the sommelier for £450 per guest. 

Tickets are also available for the stunning triple height bar. Book a guaranteed table for either 2 or 4 guests with half a bottle of Ruinart Champagne and canapes for £275 per guest. Alternatively tickets are available for £175 including a glass of Champagne on arrival and canapés.  The live band will perform from 9.00pm until midnight and the DJ will play until 3:30am.

OBLIX

Oblix will be serving up the New Year Great-Gatsby style with a celebratory tasting menu with wine pairing. The New Year’s menu has been designed for the occasion by Executive Chef, Marcus Eavesis is priced at £450 per person and can be booked via the Oblix website.

Alternatively, you can visit the open bar for the late night party from 11:30pm to enjoy the live swing orchestra and DJ. Tickets are priced at £150 per person and can be booked here.

 

THE VIEW FROM THE SHARD

Start 2019 on a high watching the whole of London bid farewell to the year gone by at The View from The Shard. Tickets to the New Year's Eve party on levels 69 and 72 include a welcome cocktail, live set from DJ Santero and a glass of champagne to toast in the New Year. Tickets are priced at £199 per person and are available to book here.
