The Fashion and Textile Museum on Bermondsey Street celebrates 140 years of the British icon store Liberty.
The wonderful exhibition of Liberty printed attire continues at the Fashion and Textile Museum, showcasing the style and approach of one of Britain's most celebrated fashion & textile stores.
Founded by Arthur Lasenby Liberty, his ambition to import, create and sell beautiful fabrics and clothing continues to this day. The exhibition journeys its history from the early days, reveals its collaborative spirit, and investigates how rather than follow trends it created its own ensuring others followed.
