CHARITY ARTS AUCTION IN AID OF NEPAL EARTHQUAKE RECOVERY FUND
On Monday 9th November Core @ Nolias Gallery will host a very special arts auction in the London Bridge neighbourhood.
A unique partnership between galerist and local Gillian Best Powell and Nolia Devlin, a long-time arts supporter and gallery owner of NOLIAS GALLERY, the duo have been on the ground in Nepal involved in creative art lessons for children affected by the earthquakes.
On the night, thirty original portraits will to be exhibited for auction. Each piece was created by a child from the Sindhupalchowk District of Nepal, where 97% of schools were destroyed in the recent earthquakes.
The money raised will go back into redevelopment work in the same region. Three of NERF’s four trustees will be visiting Nepal again in mid-November to monitor our ongoing projects and look for new opportunities in which to invest these additional funds.
