50,112 MEALS PACKED AT THE SHARD
Protiviti invited both their clients and occupiers from The Shard to pack meals for the global ‘i on Hunger’ initiative.
The one day event on 9th November contributed to global consulting firm and The Shard occupier, Protiviti, exceeding its seven million meals milestone for the global ‘i on Hunger’ programme, which delivers meals to the hungry in more than 30 countries.
In partnership with Rise Against Hunger, and supported by the Shard Quarter Team and The Office Group, further employees from companies within The Shard and clients of Protiviti joined in to collectively pack 50,112 meals during five one-hour sessions. Companies involved included: Campari, Cashplus, Cityscape Digital, Co Star Group, Duff and Phelps, Enstar Group, Gallup, HCA Healthcare, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Kraft Heinz, Protiviti, Remlimited, Robert Half, Saphire, SettleGo, Siteimprove, ICE, The Office Group and Tiffany.
According to the World Food Programme, one in nine people around the world currently suffer from hunger or malnutrition. Since the i on Hunger program began four years ago, Protiviti has worked with more than 145 non-profit organisations in 21 of the countries where the firm has offices to provide nutritious meals for people facing hunger.
