Rocky from Project Hail Mary Makes a Surprise Visit to The Shard

Last week, The Shard welcomed a very special guest. Rocky, the much loved alien engineer from Project Hail Mary, made a special appearance at London’s vertical city, delighting occupiers, residents and the thousands of commuters passing through London Bridge.
The visit formed part of the excitement surrounding the upcoming film adaptation of Andy Weir’s bestselling novel, which tells the story of a lone astronaut sent on a critical mission to save Earth.
Along the way, he encounters an unexpected ally: Rocky, an alien engineer whose intelligence, curiosity and loyalty make him one of modern science fiction’s most memorable characters.

A Memorable Moment at The Shard
During the visit, Rocky appeared outside The Shard, surprising those working in the building as well as commuters travelling through London Bridge Station.
Many stopped to take photos and share the moment, turning an ordinary journey through the building into something far more memorable.
The appearance created a sense of curiosity and excitement throughout the building, as occupiers and visitors encountered one of science fiction’s most fascinating characters in one of London’s most iconic landmarks.
