The Shard Shines Pink to Raise Awareness of Breast Cancer

NewsTo mark the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, The Shard's spire lights will be shining pink on the evening of Wednesday 1st October 2025. Helping to raise awareness of breast cancer and promote the importance of early detection, education, and support for life-saving research.
In addition, throughout October, the building’s award-winning bars and restaurants will host special experiences to raise funds for their chosen charities. At Shangri-La The Shard, London, guests can enjoy a Clouds of Pink Afternoon Tea at TĪNG Restaurant, Pink-Hued Creations at GŎNG Bar, and a Pink Sky Brunch at Sky Lounge, with a portion of proceeds supporting Guy’s Cancer Charity.
Oblix at The Shard will also join the initiative with a special pink edition of its renowned Afternoon Tea. For every Pink Afternoon Tea sold across the building, £1 will be donated to Breast Cancer Now, helping to fund vital research and support.
