The Shard Joins 80th Anniversary WWII Commemorations

NewsFrom 9pm on 15 August, The Shard will be illuminated in red, white, and blue as part of a nationwide commemoration marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War.
Joining other iconic London landmarks - including Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, and the Cenotaph - The Shard will light up the skyline in the colours of the Union Flag. These displays are part of a series of events across the UK honouring the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served, and all who lived through the conflict.
