The Shard Celebrates Lunar New Year

NewsThe Shard welcomed the lunar new year with a spectacular traditional Chinese Lion Dance performance by the London Chinese Community Centre.
Occupiers crowded in to see a dazzling display of energetic leaps and swings to the sounds of beating drums to bring in good luck and happiness to all in this year of the Snake.
The dancers made their way to The Shard reception where lettuce and red envelopes were offered.
Providing a tasty option for lunch, Ong Ong Buns were selling savoury buns and cakes.
The Shard occupier, Kraft Heinz also set up a pop-up stall offering giveaways to fellow occupiers to promote their new premium Amoy soy sauce in celebration of the Year of The Snake.
If you missed the performance, celebrations continue until 9th February at Shangri-La The Shard London where you can enjoy their Lunar New Year Afternoon Tea, and the talented team of chefs at Hutong on Level 33 of The Shard have created a special three-course Chinese New Year menu to celebrate the year of the snake, which is also available till 9th February.
