CHRISTMAS COCKTAILS ABOVE THE CLOUDS

EventsInspired by this year’s lights show, The Shard’s award-winning restaurants and bars are continuing to spread the Christmas cheer with a limited-edition menu of seven decadently festive cocktails.
Illuminating the top 20-storeys of the UK’s tallest building, this year’s #ShardLights display has been designed to the nation’s favourite Christmas carols – We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Twelve Days of Christmas, Jingle Bells, and Deck the Halls - and the new and exclusive cocktails are no different.
Featuring serves from GŎNG, Hutong, Oblix, and The View from The Shard, each cocktail has been crafted using the finest festive ingredients to pay homage to the musical numbers.

Ginger Bells at GŎNG Bar - £26
Arriving at the table in a truly festive ceramic Gingerbread House, surrounded by a magical cloud of softly scented ginger air, the Ginger Bells cocktail is a rich blend of holiday flavours. Made using a date and butter infused single malt whisky from The Lakes, it is finished with warming cinnamon, falernum, and bitters.
Yule Mule at Hutong Bar - £20
The Yule Mule, garnished with a Christmas sugar rim, fresh mint, and ruby red berries is a delightful zesty creation, made with smooth Grey Goose vodka mixed with a sweet pear infusion, complemented by notes of bubbling ginger and lime.
The Pear Tree at Oblix Restaurant - £16
A festive cocktail inspired by the iconic ‘partridge in a pear tree’ from The Twelve Days of Christmas, The Pear Tree is made using a sweet pear and cinnamon syrup paired with a warming mulled wine syrup and mixed with a smooth two gin blend, Tanqueray and sloe.
Jolly at Oblix Restaurant - £16
A decadent twist on the traditional spiked eggnog, Jolly features rich dark rum blended with pasteurised egg yolk and a touch of sweet vanilla, finished with a golden chocolate half-moon.
Figgy Pudding at Oblix Restaurant - £16
We all love a figgy pudding! Garnished with a slice of fig, enjoy the warmth of rich Bulletin Bourbon accented with delicious fig liquor and Christmas pudding syrup.
One-Horse Open Sleigh at Oblix Restaurant - £16
A delightful holiday favourite, One-Horse Open Sleigh is made using Coco Kanu Rum mixed with mint and cream, which is then complemented by sweet Frangelico, an Italian hazelnut liqueur, and mandarin, before being topped with a peppermint candy cane.
Cherry Christmas at The View from The Shard - £18
It’s a very cherry Christmas! With a sprig of holly, fresh berries, and sparkling rim, enjoy this vibrant seasonal favourite of Patron Silver Tequila, maraschino liqueur, and rich Drambuie mixed with a tart cranberry and morello cherry puree, and finished with hints of nutty orgeat and zesty lime.
