The View from The Shard will be transformed this winter into a Nordic wonderland inspired by the Northern Lights and snowy wilderness of Scandinavia.
The theme, which will be in place from 25 November to March 2022 will be entitled Aurora and takes inspiration from Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights.
The Aurora theme will feature throughout the venue from visitor arrival on the ground floor all the way to the to the open-air terrace at the very top of The Shard.
Theming has been designed to bring some winter magic to the attraction and will include:
- Regular Snow falls on the open air Skydeck every 15 minutes
- Nordic themed enormous Christmas Tree (for the festive period)
- Grand Piano
- Ski Lodge Bars serving Moet & Chandon

The Aurora elements will be included with all tickets.
