Leading figures from the world of technology will come together at The Shard to celebrate the launch of London Technology Week 2015 taking place across the capital from 15-21 June.
This year, London Technology Week Ambassadors and invited guests come to The Shard for the launch of the second year to showcase the city’s role as the digital hub of Europe. Ambassadors include Mind Candy founder Michael Acton Smith, Brightbridge Ventures CEO Dan Cobley, Lastminute.com founder Martha Lane Fox, London Stock Exchange Group CEO Xavier Rolet, and Tim Davie, CEO, BBC Worldwide and Director, Global, to name just a few.
London Technology Week celebrates London’s global position as a hotbed of tech innovation, business successes, entrepreneurship and creative talent. In 2014, more than 40,000 people from over 40 countries came together for 203 events held at venues across the capital.
Events taking place across the week range from new start-ups showcasing their products to presentations featuring the world’s most important tech companies across the globe. Around 60 events have already been confirmed across London including Investment and Funding workshop, 'Using your IP to Fund Your Growth', hosted by intellectual property firm, Mathys and Squire, also occupiers of The Shard.
