Wellbeing Week at The Shard

16th September 2026

Last week, The Shard’s office occupiers came together for a week dedicated to wellbeing, movement and taking a moment away from the working day.

From energising fitness sessions and a smoothie-powered challenge to restorative treatments and creative workshops, Wellbeing Week offered something for every pace and preference – encouraging occupiers to pause, recharge and connect with colleagues across the building.

Movement was at the heart of the week, starting with the regular programme of yoga and Pilates sessions giving occupiers the opportunity to stretch, strengthen and reset high above London.

For those looking to turn up the intensity, a morning Ride class nearby Psycle, brought an energetic cycling workout to the week’s programme. Also hosted at Psycle, a Lagree class offered a different approach to strength and conditioning. Combining controlled movements with high-intensity, low-impact exercise, the session challenged participants to work their whole body while focusing on strength, stability and endurance.

There was plenty of energy throughout the week, with occupiers taking on the Smoothie Bike Challenge.

The concept was simple: pedal to power the blender and create a delicious smoothie. A fun way to get moving and the challenge brought a competitive edge to the week. There were pedal free smoothies for anyone who didn’t want to cycle too.

The week also invited occupiers to explore the more mindful side of wellbeing with a herbal tea blending workshop. Participants experimented with different organic herbs and botanicals to create their own blends, discovering new flavours while taking time to slow down.

There was also a skincare workshop, with skin analysis and a suggested bespoke routine for each attendee.

For those looking for a little relaxation, chair massages provided a welcome opportunity to switch off during the working day. Occupiers could take a moment to pause and enjoy some time away from their screens, offering a simple reset amidst the pace of life in the capital.

More than simply a programme of activities, the week provided an opportunity for occupiers from across The Shard’s diverse business community to step away from their everyday routines, meet colleagues from neighbouring businesses and enjoy shared experiences within the vertical city.

Wellbeing remains an important part of life at The Shard, with the building’s annual programme of occupier events designed to create opportunities for connection, discovery and balance throughout the year.
