Shangri-La launches market-inspired Champagne brunch

The new brunch will feature delicious à la carte options accompanied by a cheese deli, gourmet sweets, chocolate fountain and the option to choose free-flowing Veuve Clicquot, along with pop-up demonstrations from local suppliers on selected dates.

February 2024 – Every Sunday from 10th March, Sky Lounge at Shangri-La The Shard, London will launch London’s highest new brunch offering, featuring a market-style cheesemonger, chocolate and patisserie stalls alongside a selection of Asian-inspired à la carte starters and mains. To elevate the experience, guests will have the option to enjoy 90 minutes of free-flowing Veuve Cliquot Champagne. 

Alongside the delicious menu, which includes confit salmon with rainbow radicchio and lemongrass hollandaise and Vietnamese-style sea bass with glass noodles, guests will discover market-style stalls laden with all-you-can-eat dessert treats. 

Renowned cheesemonger Aubrey Allen will provide an array of ethically sourced British and European farmhouse cheeses, from creamy blues to tangy cheddars, paired with crackers, grapes and chutneys. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy an array of desserts crafted by the hotel’s talented in-house pastry chefs, with a selection of homemade cakes, biscuits and doughnuts alongside a chocolate fountain using artisanal melted Original Beans chocolate, paired with fresh fruit for dipping.

On selected dates, Shangri-La The Shard, London's pastry team and selected local partners such as Aubrey Allen, Original Beans, Brindisa and Valhrona Chocolate will be holding exclusive pop-up cooking experiences with interactive demonstrations. 

Availability: Sky Brunch will be available every Sunday from 10th March in Sky Lounge, from 12pm to 4pm. The brunch will be priced at £79 per person, including one glass of Champagne, or £139 with bottomless Champagne.
