Western Europe’s highest hotel is set to unveil whimsical festive décor inspiring a sense of wonder in guests this Christmas, with an array of new winter experiences.

London, 6th November 2023 - Shangri-La The Shard, London is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Jo Loves by Jo Malone CBE and renowned British textile brand Warner House on an ‘Enchanted Wonders’ festive theme brought to life through a scent-inspired Christmas tree, wreath making workshops and a whole host of festive feasts to be enjoyed with friends and family. The 2023 season draws inspiration from the most-loved Christmas traditions, evoking nostalgia and appealing to all the senses.

On 14th November, the hotel will reveal ‘The Chronicles of Jo Loves’: a larger-than-life, scent-inspired Christmas tree and immersive fragrance experience that will greet guests at the ground floor lobby, within a nod to the hotel’s new Jo by Jo Loves amenity line.

The Christmas installation will feature a snowy scene with an impressive 14 ft Christmas tree, laden with twinkling lights, whimsical red and white bows and baubles, and mini bottles of Jo by Jo Loves. Gifts beneath the tree, and hanging from its branches, will be wrapped with Warner House’s Starlight and Knotted Sash prints, which feature on this year’s Jo Loves x Warner House Christmas Collection.

Next to the Christmas tree, a life-size perfume bottle will welcome guests to step inside for a festive Instagram moment, flanked by a kaleidoscope of mirrors and lights and immersed in the fragrance of Jo by Jo Loves. Throughout the hotel, the whimsical traditional festive décor will continue, with Warner House cushions and furnishings inspiring a cosy sense of being at home.

For this year’s Enchanted Wonders theme, guests at Shangri-La The Shard, London will be able to experience an array of new experiences, including:
